How payment works & acceptance
All jobs on this page: 50% to start, 50% at delivery — and everything is delivered within 1 week of start. Job 1 is a flat single payment (already delivered). The search engine software is proprietary to NeedAWebNow. Your price includes a perpetual, non-exclusive license for use on communitynewspapers.com. NeedAWebNow retains all intellectual property rights, including the right to license the software to other parties. Updates and support beyond the included warranty/tuning period are provided under an active care plan.
Performance & environment
Search improvements apply to the search function itself. Overall site performance depends on your hosting environment (currently PHP 7.4, which is end-of-life — we recommend upgrading and can quote it separately). AI features rely on third-party AI providers; model usage costs are the client's direct costs, billed by the provider — our fees cover implementation only. Included AI search tuning is up to 6 hours within a 30-day period after launch; additional tuning at $75/hr.
